Presented by Nir Megnazi, Leadership Coach at Intel, Speaker, Author, and Mentor – Intel Corporation
Have you ever felt overly stressed when trying to lead a team while remaining a technical expert and completing your own workload at the same time?
This scenario is not rare and can stem from the little training often provided for leaders, many of whom may be pressed into leading for being technically savvy and a successful producer. Often the next logical career step is management – but too frequently with little support needed to make a successful transition.
Our September QASIG presenter, Nir Megnazi, Leadership Coach, Author, and Speaker, has some solutions and tactics on how leaders can thrive. It involves a change in mindset and training on key leadership principles to put you on a better path. In his presentation, Nir will share his from his hands-on experience on how to create the right goals, how to face and solve challenges, and how to avoid burn out by quickly discovering the cause and then learning to say no effectively. By learning more about being an effective manager who cares for your team and nurtures skills and personalities, everything becomes easier and you’ll reach your goals.
About our speaker: Nir currently works with Intel in Portland, OR and has managed teams for the last 13 years (out of 20 years at Intel) and was an officer in the Israel defense army for more than 20 years, leading people in both good and tough situations.
